Applied at Casa Urbana in Chula Vista. Spoke to Mariana at the property. Verified our income was 2.5x, our credit scores were above 600 and that we had 24 month+ of rental history. Even explained about my cancer diagnosis and how we had lived at an extended stay hotel prior to my current 13 month lease. She said nothing about living at a hotel prior would disqualified us. While Kyle was very nice, whoever is in charge of approving tenants is ridiculous and discriminatory. I provided all my bank statements, LLC documents, business return from 2020, all the pet documents asked for, but because my personal return for 2020 isn't ready yet, I was denied tenancy. Upon their request, I sent them my 2019 personal tax return, which was pointless because they still denied me. I even offered to pay 3 months of rent IN ADVANCE and I was still denied! The management here is great the property for the price is amazing. Updated and maintenance is quick to respond. Very easy to work with and are very understanding and flexible unlike some. If you’re looking for affordable and caring group this is the one. If I ever have a need for another small short term apartment I will definitely come back and refer friends and family. Linda the apartment manager for the vista location off Nettleton was the best to work with.

Customer service was great! And the manager on site (Martha) was always so helpfull and flexible with her schedule. She still continues to provide support and the complex itself is very nice and quite.

Coming To Casa Del Sol , I didn't have an idea on the rental process. With the help of the property manager and her manager they gave me the biggest blessing in my life which was to have My owm apartment.
