The Walnut Grill is an awesome go-to restaurant for any time of the day! Great food, service, and atmosphere. Highly recommend :-)
We went up for appetizers and drinks. The service was good but the food is overpriced. Three people and only one was drinking alcohol and 2 appetizers should not cost $60.
The worst service that we have ever experienced. Waitress Ashley never checked on us once and we could've used a drink refill. We had to get the hostess to hunt her down for the check and even after that she never brought it but instead continued her side work. We got tired of waiting and finally left the money on the table. We told the hostess who just laughed it off. Food was very average and the best part was the salad and I could have made that at home. We won't be back.

Tried the mixed grilled. $28. Nothing special, a Backyard Cook can handle. No sauce on the fish or steak.

Dear Walnut Grill, I had the pleasure of visiting your venue for the first time. Overall it was a very good experience, the atmosphere was warming and the lights were just the right level, we were welcomed and seated with in couple of minutes although it was was a Saturday. Our waiter was very helpful and friendly. Delicious food and lovely atmosphere! The crab cakes are out of this world--I've ordered them twice now!
I think the french are terrible a restaurant like this should have fresh cut fries, the fried cod sandwich was terrible server said it hand breaded and was not people in the St.Louis area like a loin piece hand breaded.I went in last week to get a gift certificate i walked out after 15 minutes lady at counter booking flight on computer i don't no if I will go back
