I had Mary as a server and she was rude and gave me TERRIBLE service. She was especially rude to my 8 year old daughter...I wouldn’t trust her with my food and I definitely wouldn’t trust her around kids. This woman seems to have deep rooted issues from what I experienced while dining at walnut grill, fox chapel. I’m never going back to this place because of her. Please find better staff.
We just tried to go to happy hour and dinner. There were several tables available in the bar area and hostesses said it was a 10 min wait. We waited 10 min (all the while, the hostesses stood and played on their phones - made for a very welcoming environment to the restaurant) and then I inquired about the wait. I was told in a snobby way that the kitchen was backed up. Why make people stand in the doorway/aisle, blocking servers trying to run food, rather than seating them so they can order drinks? great staff good times !!
Ordered food for 5 people via doordash. The person delivering waited 23 minutes for our order at the restaurant, the order received less than 10 mins after that, every dish minus the meatballs was cold, including 3 French onion soups. I messaged Walnut Grill to give them an opportunity for an apology, they read and ignored the message. We will not be ordering or eating here ever again.
