Paid insurance premiums for 25 years and was in an accident. I was cancelled. They were there and then they were gone. There commercials are bs.

Every time I call State Farm .... as I am sitting on hold....a message tells me that "If you don't want State Farm selling your personal infrmation, go to www.statefarm.com"...and then the link is buried at the very bottom. Why does State Farm think it's ok to DEFAULT to it's Ok to sell my personal info unless I opt out. That is a really slimy business practice and the default should be NOT selling my information unless they ask...and I expressly give them permission. Told me at first that I had no deductible because of a Uninsured driver. Then I went to the repair shop and was advised by the repair shop that I had a $250 deductible. Then I called back to State Farm and was advised that my deductible was $200. They hung up multiple time sheik on the call with them. Requested t have a rental car. I was told by my agent that it was find about my snap drive cause I was at sea and couldn't add it they took the discount off when I got home I added the snap drive they told be next month they was going to credit me they credit 12 dollars from 184 to 144 is more then 12 dollars the Money not the problem if you say one thing do it don't lie and pay me a little credit now need to find a New insurance company
Randy State Farm is an unethical and greedy organization. I voluntarily left a note on a car I tripped and fell into, the client claimed damages to parts of car I did not contact, they allowed inflated claims, and threatened illegal action. Do not ever do business with this company, they are totally after the money and will allow agents, within and outside company to do things illegally to try and collect a buck.
Have had 3 roofing companies inspect our roof for hail damage. They all have found it obvious hits on shingles, soffit, gutters, chimney topper, etc. on both the house and our shed. The shed had shingles off as well. We have had 2 State Farm adjustors out to look at the damage, and both had questionable takes on the roof (How can obvious hail damage be classified as normal wear and tear?). I was rear ended and it has been a nightmare to get repairs to my vehicle. No one knows what’s going on, I called repeatedly and they had my email address wrong, never received important documents, absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had. I do not recommend them. If you are ever hit by someone with State Farm insurance, just get a lawyer involved.
They always took good care of my elderly father in law who had this insurance while he was alive. Upon his death, instead of sending a final bill to my grieving husband and I (something other companies did), they sent us a beautifully printed copy of his obituary with a lovely psalm on the back (he was a christian) along with condolences and automatically closed the account. With out a doubt the worst insurance company in the business. 30 years of payments 3 minor claims and nothing from them. Not worth even having insurance if this is your insurance company. Spend your money anywhere else.
