We found this place through a Google search when traveling through Jackson. The ambiance is really cool. I had the veal and lobster and my wife had the redfish Anna. Both meals were outstanding. Finally, the service was outstanding.
Excellent meal in a cute neighborhood. Stopping in from out of town this place was recommended by multiple people. Definitely a little fancier than the Drive In name suggests but stunningly delicious food. The quality of the ingredients was clear even in something as simple as the caesar salad: I don’t think I’ve had better parmesan cheese even on a trip to Italy. I've always heard incredible things about Walkers and had been wanting to try it for awhile, and I'm SO glad I did. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is even better! The fried lobster skewers were so tasty - I seriously wanted to order 5 more servings. Then, I had the wood grilled bone-in special. We have been here for dinner several times and the last visit showed a marked decline in service and food quality. Service was slow. It took a long time for our server to take orders - first took drink orders, disappeared, then apps ordered, disappeared, etc. when she finally took out mains orders, she didn’t bother to stick around to ask if we wanted sides (we did). it took even longer for the kitchen to send food out.
