My son burned his hand. The urgent care at the Board of Health sent us to this Walgreens because the pharmacy was open until 11. I went to the store and explained this to the tech and told her we usually use a different pharmacy that had already closed and that we were told they were open til 11. I gave her my insurance card only to realize that I had our health card, not our RX card. The pharmacy assistant/tech said my husband could text a photo of the card. I sat & waited. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had in a pharmacy. Every single time there’s an issue. Today I am sick my son is sick and my daughter is sick. I tried to call and make sure prescriptions were ready due to in the past they never are! Sat on the phone for 48 minutes! Went in store sick which is what I tried to avoid and still chaos and left without my prescription again due to the lack of help! We’ll be finding a new pharmacy. This is insane !
I am VERY DISAPPOINTED in the photo lab department. I dropped off a disposable underwater camera which was suppose to B back at the store Saturday 7/29/17. After work today 8/01/17 the worker Bryce couldn't find it. As we where looking I pointed to the box that give the schedule when it will return. WELL IT WAS STILL THERE!! IT NEVER GOT PICKED UP!! SO I'VE BEEN WAITING ALL THIS TIME FOR NOTHING!! So Walgreens Photo lab. How can this be prevented from happening again?
I went in there today to buy a pack of cigarettes, I had my picture id (drivers license) out before I even got inside and the cashier did not believe it was me in the picture for some reason. I told her my birthday and my address when she asked, I was cooperative. She ended up calling the manager whom proceeded to take my ID to the back and made me wait 10 minutes only to come back and refuse to sell me the cigarettes because the cashier didn't feel comfortable with it. Speaking as a pharmacy tech for 14 years AND having experience working at Walgreens.. I absolutely HATE Walgreens and especially this one! The techs are under qualified and customer service from all staff is horrible!! The ONLY reason I still use this store is because it's one of two 24 hour drug stores in Mobile. What's even worse is there is no one to speak with about problems because pharmacist, pharmacy manager, and even corporate don't give a shit!
