Waiting several hours for a prescription and their systems keeps going down. After the 4th call and 2nd visit, the lady says she’s could try calling insurance to get the price and call me back. Never got a call back and every time I called thereafter, the line would disconnect while i was on hold. I’ll be going elsewhere for all other prescriptions. This was handled poorly.
The Pharmacist just gave me the quad flu shot and I never felt the needle. He was AWESOME!!!
Big shout out to the Pharmacy for refusing to fill a prescription for my grandson's ADHD medicine in preparation for Hurricane Irma. Their reason...it is a controlled substance and there was 3 days left on it before it could be refilled. Can only be refilled every 30 days. Really?
Wishing I could leave the picture of the transcription of the voicemail I've received at 9:12 in the morning stating that my prescriptions were ready, to help validate my experience. However when I arrived at 11:12, two hours later after the phone call/voicemail, the young lady at the window said the prescriptions weren't ready. Not only was she rude she was unapologetic and it didn't seem to be in any hurry to get anything ready which it should've been already.
My husband and I went to get our flu shots yesterday. He is covered by VA they said to go to Walgreens. I have medicare so we were free!!. I then got my shingles vaccine which went thru my part D coverage. The whole process was professional, quick and easy.
So thankful for the wonderful stuff at our local Walgreens! I called to see if they had a specific medicine for my little one and they did and held it at the drive thru for me to come pick up so I wouldn't have to unload the kiddos and go inside. Thank you for your kind helpfulness :) We will not go anywhere else. #walgreenswins
Note to self regardless how close Walgreens is always go to CVS IN Sun City Center for evening prescriptions... Walgreens pharmacy on our corner at 7pm when I got my script was 8 deep in the drive thru so I went back after I ate and put the kids to sleep. Go inside to Walgreens at 9:25 wait till 9:33 to be acknowledged then he looks at the script and says I'm not doing this in 30 min you need to go to our next store that's open later.. I said don't worry I'll go to CVS they will smile and have it ready in 10 minutes.. 20 min... read more
