The pharmacy at this Walgreens often seems to have staffing issues. I’ve been there a few times when there was only one pharmacist working with no pharmacy techs available to help. The line for prescriptions can get very long, and it’s frustrating to wait so long when the pharmacy is clearly short-staffed.
One star because that is the least I could give, although it's not earned. Yesterday I called to verify that my dog's vet called the refill prescription in for my dogs seizure medicine. We have been using this pharmacy for over 3 years. The pharmacist confirmed that they received it, then told me it would be ready by 11 am the next day. The next day I went to the pharmacy to pick it up at 1:15 pm and was told to come back after 3 pm. Because it was not ready yet. I spoke to this pharmacy over the phone 3 times to describe my family's needs related to a vaccine. I'd done my research, so I was clear on the type of vaccine we needed (often correcting them). At every turn, I was told that Walgreens could provide the vaccine and that we should come in. When we did, we were turned away by the pharmacist who passed blame on her staff instead of taking ownership of the situation (not very professional). The worst !! Everyone inside hates their job, but they chose the job. They don’t have no urgency for the customers. The customer service is terrible. Everyone moves at a snail speed. Avoid this pharmacy if you can.
Terrible service at this Walgreens pharmacy. We made appointments for vaccines in advance. Arrived before our appointment and checked in, and then waited for 45 minutes. We then found out that they didn’t have the vaccine we needed in stock. Why when we made our appointment did they not inform us? Why when we checked in did they not inform us? What a waste of time.
