Absolutely love this place. That pharmacy is excellent!!! Professional and friendly.
I just wanted to mention, shopping today I had a great experience , normally we are first to mention the bad experiences but not often the good. As I walked in I was greeted first by the first checker then by the checker in cosmetics. Both asked if I needed help and said they would be ready to check me out when I was done. As I checked out the young man almost gave me someone else's purchase and the gentleman said nope those are mine, both very sweet and I laughed. Only Walgreens in Amarillo open on a holiday (people do get sick everyday) short handed staff, people standing in line one lady is at the front of the line at checkout & people with her are shopping in The store bringing things to her to check out one pharmacy tech DOES NOT HAVE A CLUE WHAT SHE IS DOING finally get to the front of the line & they say it will be another hr before my meds are ready got to Walgreens at 2pm still no meds it is now 4:20.
Waited 3 hours for a prescription to be filled and went to pick it up and they told me it would be another 3 hours because there was 45 ahead of me. Needless to say I took my business somewhere else and had my prescription in 15 minutes. The staff were rude and only had one worker. Will never do business here again.
The most incompetent pharmacy I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Took nearly two hours to get a simple anti-biotic prescription filled after they somehow managed to receive and then lose the prescription. Had to spend those two hours trying to care for my feverish 4yo in the car.
So I'm not very happy with Walgreens on bell. Went in at 8:30 to see if my prescription was ready, they told me to come back in 30 minutes. After waiting a couple hours and going back at 11:15, the pharmacy tech told me to come back in another 30 minutes. When I ask her if I should just come back tomorrow she pops an attitude and tells me to do what I want. Well what I wanted was for my prescription to be ready when yall told me it would be.
