Scam!!! Called to add doorbell. $175 Upfront just to come over. Ok. After they take your card and sign a dozen places he goes outside to talk to his boss. Comes back with $275/hr minimum 4 hours to install and test. Buh bye!!! Checked out my house and neighborhood and saw sucker..... Stay away.

Worst experience with a contractor I've had to date. On the initial call before arriving I was already suspicious. We called them because our GFI outlets had not been working for some time, and we're getting our kitchen remodeled so we needed them in working order... The only thing he seemed to care about was his $95 trip charge ($100 if on credit card).. I told him not to worry about the money we wanted it fixed. I'm not sure what to feel about this experience. I reached out on a friday afternoon after another 'well advertised' electrical service company called back to cancel. Receptionist (or whoever) that answered the call was very polite, was very empathetic to our situation. She let me know that a reasonable 'service fee' of $165 dollars, emergencies are emergencies for a reason, was the cost. Do not agree, and never will understand, why companies do not apply that to the cost of an actual service, if you so choose to move forwar... read more

Just like the others we have a similar price gauging story. We called Waldron on 11/29/2019 at 3:52pm because we were changing a receptacle in our bathroom and when we went to flip our breaker back on on it wouldn’t come on. I was informed over the phone that it would be $145 (cash or card only) to just show up. Which I agreed to. I never asked for an appointment nor was I told that this was considered and emergency call. Gotta love when people mess up their electric at 8Pm at night and then expect to pay bottom dollar. Told you $600 in advance, you agreed, signed up for it. We restored all your power then you want to come and cry about it. Next time don't order the emergency service if you don't want to pay your end of the deal. "A Rating BBB", 35 years in business.
