I have used Waldron Electric several times over the years and would not use anyone else. Prior using Waldron Electric I had nothing but knuckleheads' coming to my home to fix my electric and furnace and AC. My neighbor that has now moved turned me on to Waldron Electric, their a little more expensive than the clowns that messed everything up that Waldron now takes care of. I had flickering lights and a bad burning smell in the basement last night. I was able to reach Waldron Electric a t 11PM at night and the person that answered calmed me down, and gave me some clear instructions to avoid the emergency charge and to be able to make it through the night. Mike the worker came the next day, had everything on his truck to replace my burning fuse box and installed a new switch box for me. What A life saver. Absolutely awful experience. I wish I had never called them. We just purchased a new home and on the day we were having the utilities turned on one of the outlets started smoking. I called, worried this was indication of a larger problem with the wiring and needed to make sure it was safe to the power the house back before I left for the evening so the pipes wouldn't freeze. Electrician came to my home and tried to repair a dryer power cord rather than simply telling me to purchase one. He cut up harness for cord and reattached some wires. Later when the cord literally melted , the dryer failed. He expected cash payment for this “repair “.on top of a diagnostic fee for testing the wall circuit. This business is running a scam.

I had a fuse blow on a Sunday night, Monday afternoon they w ere out here and found the shirt and fixed it right away. Fantastic service.

Lights went out Thursday, but only in part of the house. Upon checking the breaker box everything appeared OK, but was not. The next morning I replaced the breaker on the circuit feeding the lights and plugs that went out. Then I saw a broken wire on the neutral bar that had insulation that was partly melted. Called Nicholas Electric about Noon on Friday, but a guy from Waldron called. I explained the problem. $125 to come and $700 to $800 was guessed to fix problem. This company will try and rip you off. Avoid at all costs and get multiple estimates before hiring. Do not use them in an emergency as they will rob you blind.

This company over charges for very minor repairs. Ridiculous amount for a light switch change and breaker change - I had questions more than anything. Charged over $1100.00 for a non emergency visit. This is obsurd.

Waldron Electric took advantage of me. My air conditioner died on a Sunday and they charged $325 as a service call to come out. Since it was nearly 100 degrees I agreed to pay it. When the technician got there he quickly took my credit card info and charged me. Then he told me that the fee did not include diagnosis of the issue, but rather I would have to pay an additional diagnosis fee of $1875. And that would not cover the repair fee which he could not estimate until he did the diagnosis. I asked why I was never told about... read more
