If anything, I relapsed during my time here. I got involuntary hospitalized here and this is my first partial program experience. I don’t have a say in whether I can leave or not because I’m technically still a minor but attending the adult program. Basically, the meal checking is extremely nerve racking and in my opinion, unnecessarily strict. I’ve been misunderstood and I’m my opinion disrespected by staff on multiple occasions. Walden Care is AWESOME. I lost a hundred lbs in six months last year and put eighty back on. This had been my life from my twenties till now 62. The staff is expert, courteous, warm, and respectful. More importantly I know they have what I really need. Being compulsive overeater and an Officially diagnosed Binge Eater and focusing on the solutions has been a Godsend.
