Dr. Hultman and the entire team at WakeMed Hospital were outstanding. From start to finish, the care was professional, warm, and reassuring. Dr. Hultman took great care and attention to detail—even thoughtfully matching my incision with my existing tattoo. I am truly grateful for the exceptional care and kindness shown by both the doctor and his staff. Highly recommend.
Although all of the staff were very nice, preparing could be better. I traveled 40 minutes just to find out that my daughter was too young for the procedure, information they had prior to the appointment and could have informed me of.
The review is for the office staff. Not the Doctor I seen. He was nice and professional. The office staff and had they would call me in March. No call. I contacted them in April. Said oh we didn't say that. We said April. Nothing until I contacted them again in May. Finally scheduled an appointment. Said the office would contact me once they heard back from my insurance. After multiple visits over the course of a year with 2 well regarded hand orthopedic doctors regarding isolated,but nagging hand pain I took a chance on WakeMed Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. My previous doctors did x-rays, MRIs, rest, meds, rehab all to no avail. I needed someone to think about the problem differently. Dr Hultman spent 45 minutes doing a thorough exam, asking lots of questions, listening, asking follow-up questions. Very disappointing… will try my best NOT to come back. Please listen to your patients and don’t just rely on test results. Provider that took over for previous PA had no beside manner.
