I had a mammogram a week ago and when I called to check on the status of my results, it had not yet been read by the radiologist. Patients SHOULD NOT have to call to check on the results of a mammogram or ANY imaging. I will not be returning to this location or any other Wake Med facility.

This place is awful. The waiting room is in the main lobby of the hospital so everyone sees you walking by and you look like a spectacle. Then they call you back to a second waiting room. Waited over an hour. Its a factory wake med has gone downhill.

I am very happy that I was able to self schedule my mammogram for a Saturday. Candy is an awesome imaging technician and took the time to ask about my family history and to also explain when I would have my results and possible reasons I might be called back for additional images. This was my first time coming to WakeMed Imaging and it was a very positive experience. I hope that WakeMed Imaging continues to offer mammograms on Saturdays in the future.

Amazing experience today with your imaging department. Shout out to Melanie, she provided the best care to me and explained every step!! I could tell that she is a genuinely kind and compassionate caregiver. I was also impressed with her knowledge and expertise in the various positions for obtaining the mammogram pics!! Since my breast cancer diagnosis in 2009 I have had many mammograms…I would recommend Wake Med Cary to anyone needing a provider!!
