If I have a choice, I will never go ANYWHERE ELSE but this hospital! The prompt, careful, kind attention I received and complete explanations of what was happening were appreciated more than I can say. I cannot think of one thing that was not absolutely spot-on! By the time I went home, I felt like I had made so many new friends and they became almost like family. Be prepared to lie in a bed for hours in the hallways. Calling to check on family and response was yeah he’s here that’s all I know. For me this is the hospital of last resort
You can hear your ER neighbor (a random person next to you behind the curtain) snoring at night, but other than that, it's fine. You have a remote to choose a TV channel, and pressing "6" brings up the channel list. The remote has a built-in speaker, so the TV sound plays right next to you. Not worse than a hotel 😂
If zero stars was an option that’s what I would give this emergency department. The nurses are great and very attentive however the doctors are not! Not only did I spend an entire day and half a night to just get some pain and nausea relief from a kidney stone but then finally after getting discharged I drive all the way home 45 minutes away to pick up my prescriptions from the pharmacy only to find that the doctor didn’t even send all the prescriptions they showed were sent!! Worst experience ever. If I could give 0 stars I would. If you can, skip this ER. I came in with chest pains at 1pm 2/17. Didn’t leave until after 9:40pm and that was after demanding to be discharged. They left me in waiting room for hours - with chest pain and no meds. Asked for attending several times and when no one helped after my imaging was done, I asked to leave. I could’ve sat there for days without care.
