I would not step near this emergency room they told me it was a 40 minute wait 2 hours later I still have not seen anyone so I left not a very good hospital definitely not a good emergency room
Great Staff
Prompt, outstanding service from intake to discharge. Dr. Khandelwal, ER Physician, was compassionate while asking clarifying and confirming questions to reach a proper diagnosis. Nursing staff was oustanding as well. Teamwork! I knew I was receiving competent care. And "Trooper" the therapy dog was wonderful. Any anxiety that my wife and I had dropped to zero.
I had to visit the ER at the Cary WakeMed location today due to chest pain. From the moment I walked in the door I was treated with respect and care from all of the staff. Everyone was attentive and respectful and treated patients with the care that they deserve. My PA Dr. ELSHANAWANY was absolutely wonderful. She went through everything with me and was very professional and kind. Thank you for a great experience, healthcare is not an easy field to be in, but WakeMed really does it right.
As a retired BSN I was a nurse since 1970’s & I’m 73.5 years old. I came to the ER from my primary care doctor. I want to thank everyone for being so professional, caring and supportive. I have to rely on myself as my whole family my daughter, my brother, and my mother died from cancer. It is a good feeling that everyone in the emergency department was so kind and nice to me. Thank you
