I have been a patient of Dr. Stone now for many years and have always been pleased with his professionalism and thoroughness. On my last annual eye exam he noticed a spot on the retina of my right eye that looked suspicious and referred me to a retina specialist. To make a long story short, the spot turned out to be a choroidal melanoma. It was small and easily treated with Y90 brachytherapy radiation by the Duke Eye Center in Durham.
