The other day I had an accident with my glasses and they were unusable. My prescription has changed over the past 3 years and my backup pair was not effective reading anything closeup. A critical part of my job is reading small text on drawings so I was in dire need of a replacement pair. RecommendedI have been going to Wake Opthalmology for many years. I have always seen Dr. Stone. Last year, Dr. Stone found a small tear in my retina and he recommended me to go to see a specialist at NC Retina and Associates to have it looked at further. It needed to be lasered to stop it from being detached. I am so very thankful that Dr. Stone is so thorough with his exams, and caught that tear before anything more seriously happened. Staff issues – Scheduled cataract surgery with Dr. Rusinek. At pre-op appointment, did not see him, but a nurse took all the measurements, etc. She was pleasant, but she called the wrong prescription (allergic) into the wrong pharmacy (I had to contact the pharmacy and have it transferred), and signed a form as a witness without first "witnessing" the signature, which never took place -- had to drive back to office to pick up and sign. Best eye care anywhere – Think of the doctor you would want for your son, your daughter, your aging mother. Dr. Stone is that doctor. He is exceptionally personable, thorough and knowledgeable. He takes the time to explain everything he is doing in terms you can understand, and he goes out of his way to make sure you understand all of your options so you can make an informed decision. You won't find better eye care anywhere in the Triangle!
