Dr. Blodgett was able to make a differentiation between an abscess under a tooth, and a dead nerve in the tooth. This turned out to be a dead nerve rather then a infection in the bone. Even though I have to loose the tooth the news was very much welcomed.
Every time I visit the folks at Blodgett Dental care, I'm reminded that going to the dentist can actually be a pleasant experience! I'm always a bit tense at first, but Mara has such a soothing manner that I relaxed almost immediately. Her technique of numbing the areas she'll be working on is so good that I barely felt a thing. And she even put the TV on my favorite channel! I've had a lot of dentists in my long life, but Blodgett Dental Care is by far my favorite. Two thumbs up!
Aside from dentures, my teeth have had pretty much everything done to them over the decades. Living overseas, I wait until the summer to have any dental work done. This time, I really wanted a dentist who shared a similar philosophy...holistic, work efficiently and effectively... I've been going to Dr. Blodgett for almost 20 yrs if my math is correct. The visits are always pleasant & they make sure that you're always comfortable.
