If I could put a negative star it would be -10. Beware of the FAKE refrigerators that damaged my months worth of medicine to my trip that was after spending a night here. The medicine is only made with a prescription and I travelled from Costa Rica with it (in dry ice). Not only did they cause my trip to be a disaster and probably have to cancel it because I don't have the medicine anymore, the customer service response was TERRIBLE and they offered me a $50 compensation. This is about the Irvington Restaurant whose clients the W Hotel has decided cannot use the bathroom of the hotel fasciitis. Which for me really downgrades the quality of the hotel. Irvington restaurant: If you want just food the service makes up for it. If you want a safe decent bathroom that doesn't look like a public restroom in union square don't go here. It is a nice place to visit. Something different then west coast!!
Free wifi only in the lobby .... give me a break ! The room was nice but needs LTC and some "facelift". The front desk, very friendly. But overall, you are overpaying and the W needs to keep there standards UP
