I rented through VSM for 2 years. I have never rented with a management that was as poorly as VSM was. Not only did we feel ignored by them when we needed maintenance, but we felt taken advantage of. Their communication skills were absolutely terrible unless it was something they needed from us. My daughter (student at MCAD) and boyfriend rented an apartment in The Arches in the Whittier neighborhood for 2 years. Building was clean (never saw any bugs or vermin like some other apts we looked at!), well run, and maintenance items were taken care of promptly.
