Terrible experience at ****** **** ***** ** *********** **. 2023 XC90 Recharge T8 AWD First, was prompted to turn in car early from lease to meet the dealership needs. They messed up on the purchase details and my payment is more than told and we have NEVER received our purchase records as of yet, 3 months later. Second, the new car is a Recharge, we were NEVER shown how to charge car and it took a month for a response to achieve. Third, we were lied to as told in 3-M if not satisfied, could turn the car in, then said they N... read more

On June 28th while traveling out of town with family, my 2016 Volvo XC90 experienced major issues. While on the interstate my check engine light came on, as the RPMs were increasing however, the vehicle was not. I was able to safely remove my vehicle from the interstate and have it towed to the nearest Volvo dealership for service. Following Volvos policy and procedure, I was able to secure an appointment with a service advisor prior to the vehicle being towed at the **** **** dealership in ********, **. The advisor did not ... read more

Sadly, Volvo disappointed us recently. We had identified a new 2022 XC90 at Serra Volvo in ******** ***** **that was just what we wanted, purchase price ~$71K, which is the most we've ever contemplated spending on any vehicle. I am a 20-year Air Force veteran and was led to believe that Serra Volvo valued my service and would treat us fairly. Not true. Got the financing in place, wired our $11K down payment to Serra Volvo, and all looked to be in good shape. Then received a call from *****? (not 100% sure of the name) and tw... read more

I have a 2005 Volvo S60..which had low miles...4000 ..I believe..This is my third Volvo ..Needless to say I like the product..At 90,000 miles I replaced the timing belt kit..serpentine belt tensioner..$793.86..At that time I was informed that it is warranted for life as long as I'm the owner...they told me that is true for all Volvo parts..I now have 120 000..miles..I was also told I probably wouldnt have to replace it ever again.....Recently I heard a noise and a local repair shop told me it's the tensioner...sooo I took it... read more

I will begin with this is the second Volvo I have owned; and until now, I have been happy with my vehicles. My current vehicle is a 2015.5 V60. It was purchased new from the dealership but had 5,000 miles on it because it was previously a loaner vehicle. All maintenance has been done at dealer from date of purchase, i.e. oil changes, service recommended at certain number of miles, etc. Volvos are known for safety, reliability, and sustainability for high miles, which is the reason I had planned to be a Volvo driver for life.... read more

My experience owning a 2021 S90 R. I suspect a design/engineering fault in the Suspension , wheels, tires. At 15k miles had to replace all four rotors. All rims warped. Needed repair. Slight vibration in steering wheel. Dealer has made several attempts to fix, but still unresolved. Volvo corp customer service is apathetic and unresponsive. Called road side assistance once for a flat tire. They never came, never followed up. When I called to give feedback on the experience they said they would have a mgr called me back. It’s ... read more

in summer of 2020 I had a few problems with my used Volvo I bought, including the fact that I had to the unlock button dozens of time for the car to open. I am not kidding if it is less than 10 times I feel like the car is functioning well, every morning when I have to leave it is usually between ***** clicks of the button for the car to open, now most people would say must be the battery but that doesnt make sense because at the time the car was a year and a half old, and it happened every single time with both keys, so I b... read more

Purchased a new 2022 XC 60. Nothing but problems from the beginning. Car unlocked itself and discharged its own batteries. Other IT problems persist. Poor service from Volvo Canada and dealership. Recommend against purchasing Volvo cars.
