I went to Vivilore yesterday for lunch with several of my work friends. What a most wonderful place! Food is excellent, atmosphere is wonderful and the gardens.....oh my, I love the gardens!

Betty Payne and Bob Payne had a fabulous lunch at Vivilore today. I just can't speak highly enough of the menu, food, service, and decor. It was "the icing on the cake" for a perfect afternoon in spring.
This place is awesome the service was superb! The drinks are Devine and it has the most spiritual atmosphere. Our servers name was Savannah and she had the most effervescent personality which is hard to come by these days.
My mother was in from out of town and we decided to take a short road trip to Independence to check out this diamond in the rough! AMAZING! Priced right. Service was excellent and owner was very informative and on hand to answer questions! I will be going back. Cannot wait for the weather to cooperate for the amazing garden space, so I can bring back more for a party there!
Quiet, decorative atmosphere + to-die-for food + top notch service = memorable very enjoyable dinner experience. Eric, the bar guy and our server, was terrific!

What to say about a masterpiece? Vivilore is an oasis of civilization and culture for the midwest. Exceptional food in an historical space, meandering courtyards, old brick paths, and romantic gardens provide ambiance to spare. Visit it with those you love the most!
My wife was told about Vivilore... and she wanted to go there for our date night. I was skeptical at best... but WOW, what a great place. Eclectic and Hip with amazing food... and the bonus of enjoying the gallery and store after dinner was a pleasant surprise. You would pay considerably more for a dinning experience this nice downtown. We will be back... and we will bring friends the next time!
