Be very careful @ Vito's – Be careful of the sales tactics at Vito's. The servers will be very quick to push costly items such as wine without disclosing the true cost of the product. We had a $630 bottle of wine persistently pushed on our table without ever discussing the cost. Once we complained about the sales tactics the price was reduced to $470. Very sneaky sales. Food was only average; poor filet mignon and below average key lime pie. Other establishments do a much better job.
Spotty Service – Recently went to Vitoss with a friend that had been here before and really liked it. I thought it was nice, but the service lacked a little the night we were there. The first wine that we asked for they did not have and when we went for a second bottle we were out of luck too. These were not that far out there, $75/bottles. I expected a little better service for the price. They were not very quick to remove old dishes and we did not see our waiter that often except when he did not have the wine. They did sen... read more
Not worth the hype... – After reading the reviews we made reservations to dine at this restaurant a month in advance. We did have a table and a specific one at that, located next to the aquarium. The salad is average at best. Our filets were burnt on the outside, raw on the inside. When I questioned this our (often MIA) waitress advised it gives it flavor. This should come as a relief to anyone who is just learning how to grill. As far as I'm concerned burning a filet on the outside, regardless of the temp on the inside is a... read more
Vito's Always Perfect! – If I'm in Orlando, then it's always Vito's. A true one of a kind. Never dissapointed with the food, service, or ambiance. Had dinner at Vito's twice last week and I think it get's better every time. I highly recommend the Veal Porterhouse, hands down the best steak I've ever had!
Avoid this place – My wife and I ate here last weekend. The place is nice on the insde. The service was just ok. Out waitress seemed new. Something was off. The bread was excellent. We both had Filet Mignon. My wife had hers Medium and mine was supposed to be Medium rare. They both came out medium and quite charred on the outside. Nevertheless I at it anyway and it was a decent streak but by now means on par with Ruth's Chris/Del Monicos/Sullivans.
Could Have been Better – Recently took clients to dinner here. I was dissapointed in the service and the restaurant was not busy. Waiter was displaying the Lobster at the table and tilting the plate to show the other guests dripping raw Loster juices on the table. The Sommalier could not seem to find our table and the service was very uneven in general. The food was good but for a $600.00 tab for dinner I will find a restaurant next time that wants my business.
From the owners of Fish Bones and Charley's comes a steak-and-fish house with a New York Italian accent. – The Scene Steakhouse plush--brick walls, amber lighting, paper over linen, Sinatra et al. in stereo. A couple of booths have fun views through glass, either of rippling tropical fish or sweating kitchen cooks. The Food Paul Bunyan portions of aged steaks and fresh fish. The oak and orange wood fire gives grilled items a flavorful scorch, and chops and steaks come with an olive-adorned house salad. Fish lovers have a cho... read more
Amazing!!!! – Absolutly the best I have ever had. And with a Wine list like this, and such a knowledgeable staff to go along with this, you cannot make a wrong decision. I highly recondmend Vito's to Everyone!
Best of I-Drive – Vito's has an excellent amabiance, responsive servers and management, but berst of all, high quality food. The steaks compare very well to the high end steak houses (such as Del Frisco's). Side dishes and appetizers are also very good, They also mix some mean cocktails. All in all, well worth a visit, followed by many more visits thereafter.
