This place was a God-send. I could not have asked for a better place for my friend. I had no idea this unit existed. I chose to go with this organization because of a relationship I had developed over the years with a Vitas employee and had seen the care provided for seniors I have known go through this process. He had the best care staff I could have asked for. Even though he wasn't overly responsive the majority of the time he was there, they still came in and spoke to him as if he was wake. the staff is very supportive and caring. They do their best help You through a very difficult time.
The entire staff on the hospice floor are awesome. They care about the patients and their families. I really want to take my dad home, but the doctor wants him stable before discharge. Thank you to the hospice staff. God bless.
