Vitas Healthcare provided services for my dad 4 years ago when he was dying in the hospital. Just recently, they provided hospice for my mom at my house. The entire staff at Vitas was just amazing. The quality of care, the compassion, the overwhelming desire of the staff to support my mom, and my husband and I during the process was exemplary. At the end, they came every day for almost a week. They frequently adjusted the medication to make sure that she was comfortable. Hospice at home is not for the faint of heart, however... read more
