Don't bother donating blood with Vitalant. They won't show up and they don't care. If you make an appointment they'll just cancel the blood drive without telling you and yet still email you daily about how important it is that you show up to an appointment they've canceled in order to "save lives." This seems to just be some sort of scheme to collect people's private information. My hematologist warned me about how sketchy and untrustworthy Vitalant is and I should have listened.

Ebony (I believe she's the supervisor, she looks to be about 26) and her team were great. They were efficient, professional, and had a great customer service. I hope to return to this donation! Thank you ladies for your hard work and kindness. Dream team out here on McKnight road.
The staff is rude. I showed up at 415 for a 430 appt. And was turned away because it wasn't 430. I looked at her as if she was joking, but she wasn't. She told me to come back in 15.... I did not. A shame because the real people that this hurts are those who need the donations.
I have donated blood at this location several times over the last two years. I would like to suggest two things please: 1. Introduce yourself to your client, make some small talk, and inform the client of the donating process- do not simply put the Velcro tourniquet around their arm and start cleaning the site without an explanation. 2. Please inform the client that a "stick" is coming, do not just jab the needle into the arm. Thank you.
