VNS services of Torrington came to our home to counsel us on what they could offer in palliative and hospice care. They spent three weeks sending nurses, a physical therapist and a social worker letting us know that we were covered for all of their services. Then we were informed on the last nurse visit that our insurance carrier did not have a contract with them which basically meant that we had to start from scratch in obtaining the services we needed.
