I have been working for Visiting Angels for almost a year and absolutely love it! The staff are wonderful and really try to match me up with clients who will best fit me and but especially the client. They also try their hardest to keep same caregiver with a client and if a substitute caregiver is needed, they try to assign the same substitute who covered before if at all possible. I worked in a fcaility setting for 5 years as a CNA and it was taking its toll on my depression. I wasqmt able to feel like I was doing my job right, these people need you, and when they constantly get a stream of strangers who they maybe interect with for 5 minutes or so, they dont feel like people anymore, and neither did I. Working for these people who have such an incredible goal and outlook on healthcare is outstanding. Visiting Angels helped my Grandpa have a safe transition when had moved from a care facility, to a home he wanted to try to stay at that didn't work out and was truly unsafe for him. It was the Memorial Day weekend and we couldn't get him into the Residential Care Facility we wanted for him. Visiting Angels stepped in and provide the safety and security for his care until we could get him moved again. They also provided comfort for our family in a very stressful time.
