Beautiful memories of going there every year while growing up with family vacations. Stating in cottages, playing in arcade. Playing on beach, buying comic books to read in bed, no tv in cottage which wasnt missed. Getting icecream cone and getting donuts last stop of the night. Soo much more! Sadly missed!
I couldn't believe how much there was to do here. Everyone was friendly and my husband and i will definitely be back!!! We used the Visit Erie App and it was so helpful

Saw the crew working hard at a Vacation show today n Columbus Ohio today. Makes one want to get in the car and head to Erie!
It is amazing, I've lived in some of the posh & extremely nice places in the country. Phoenix, Az., and Orange County, Cal. and all of those places don't compare to what my home town has to offer. I'd like to see someone from here get real excited about it, And develops a real iconic t-shirt that sells Erie to the world. So I can send them to all my friends and they can advertise my home town.
My parents would take us there when we were kids when you could camp at Sara's right on the beach. Over the years some things changed but it was always out familys favorite summer place to visit
