Was led to this Veterinary group via a Facebook story-link about their Loving-care of Kitty "Angel" who required special surgery on her front legs. I had to call and ask "The Question" = "Do you declaw cats?" I just got off the phone, and am crying Tears Of Joy for their divine response, "No, we consider it cruel." God Bless dear Virginia Veterinary Surgical Associates. May you inspire EVERY "declaw" DVM across America to become as Humane, as Compassionate as you. Amen
Dr. Hamilton and the staff are so nice. They took great care of my dog. He had gallbladder surgery and now the healing process starts.
Incredible. If you need surgical care, take your beloved pet here! They saved our sweet girl's legs and supported us through a very difficult time. Dr. Padron and Dr. Gifford were amazing. Seriously, they are the most talented pet surgeons in Virginia.
My sweet kitty, Kendrick, had his PU surgery at VVSA's Midlothian office with Dr. Aktay in july. We had a rough recovery but she aided us in figuring him out and has been easy to get in contact with we are now just about 3 months post surgery and he is back to his normal self and can urinate properly again. Dr Aktay & all VVSA staff were fantastic. Thank you when my dog busts a cruciate or two I'll come back
They are absolutely wonderful. They took care of my baby that broke his leg back in May. They were so compassionate and caring about my baby. This is a truly amazing hospital and would give it 100 stars if allowed.
Dr. Aktay and the staff at VVSA did a phenomenal job with our dog's TPLO surgery. Compassionate, thorough care and follow up! Dr. Aktay took the time to answer seemingly endless questions at the initial consultation and discuss all options. Highly recommend VVSA.
