I took my spencer in for back surgery. Dr Pinel and his staff were amazing, caring, and professional. Spencer couldn't walk or stand. Two days after surgery he's walking, eating and wagging that cute doxie tail. So glad he's home and doing so well. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You saved our boy
Thanks to Dr White for keeping me informed of my dog's status throughout the day even after she had to passed him on to cardiologist. Speaking of which, Dr. Paling is the best as well! Entire group (front staff, vet techs and doctors) are very thoughtful and professional.
I couldn't have asked for anyone better to help my dog! The nurses , the doctor, & the rest of the staff were so welcoming & understanding. They are the best of the best.
Our 15 year old Cockapoo went into the emergency vet in Charlottesville in October, 2015 because she was having trouble breathing. It was recommended that we take her to Virginia Veterinary Specialists where she was seen by Dr. Paling, a cardiologist there. Our little girl was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. She stayed at th center for two days, getting oxygen and for observation. She came home with many prescriptions and almost two years later she is still taking a lot of medication, but is doing very well. Thanks ... read more

The most amazing staff & Specialists I've ever dealt with. Gucci had to have double tple surgery february 2016, he could barely walk. The staff & Specialists went above & beyond to help gucci & make sure he had the care he needed.
