We saw Dr. Paling with cardiology. She was very nice to our kitten and explained everything well. She had an emergency to attend to but we were kept informed. We were also thrilled about the good news regarding our kitten and we will keep following up as recommended. This is a very nice facility with excellent staff.
VVS diagnosed and treated my 3 yo pittie when he started having complications after an exploratory surgery last Tuesday. They were quick to diagnose internal bleeding and whisked him off into surgery to get him all fixed up. They cared for him, provided updates, and communicated well with our primary vet. I am so grateful for Dr. Purnell and her techs and a very big thank you to their front office staff who were patient with me through all of my tears ❤️

Both of my dogs have seen Dr. Stiffler for the TPLO surgery and I was so pleased with the entire staff at VVS and Dr. Stiffler's care of both dogs and me! I had to go back again when the older dog developed further spinal issues (old age) and Dr. Wheeler was equally as helpful and supportive. Looks like I am going back again this week for cardiology assessment on my older dog. I'm so glad we have the staff from VVS in Charlottesville.
We LOVED Dr. Stiffler. He took the time to sit down with us and thoroughly explained what would happen during our fur baby's surgery. He even drew photos of the bone that would be cut and reshaped and the metal plates that would be placed in the leg. We didn't feel rushed during the meeting. It was very relaxed. I went to visit my boy after surgery and the following morning and they allowed me to sit in his pen and visit for as long as I wanted. The staff there was just as amazing as Dr. Stiffler. Took our baby boy, 8 months old Pitt Bull, there for shoulder issues but turned out to be an elbow problem that was missed diagnosed. Not only did it save us on the intense surgery procedures but they also saved us in money. He did have surgery on his elbow and he's doing absolutely awesome. Thank you Virginia Veterinary Specialists.
