I had to get PRK surgery to correct my near sightedness. Virginia Beach Eye Center was more than accommodating of my difficult schedule. Dr. Garret was very professional and Julianne was great. Most importantly my results are amazing. It's so nice to see the world through my own eyes and not a lense! Thank you for the gift of eyesight!

VBEC is the place to if you need to see an opthalmologist.. The staff are friendly and efficient... Dr. Kurz is wonderful.. explains everything to the t... spends time to answer questions.. I have been going to VBEC for a long time and wouldn't go anywhere else.

Dr.Kurz performed cataract surgery on both eyes and I'm very happy with the results. Dr. Kurz and the staff were very professional and pleasant in responding to my needs. I experienced a problem with the first eye and Dr. Kurz met me at the office on a Saturday to examine and diagnose the problem. He was able to correct it the following Monday morning and I haven't had any problems since. Even with appointments, the waits can be long, but the examinations are thorough and I'm confident that I'm getting excellent eye care.

Very professional business and quite affordable for someone like myself without insurance. :-... read more

Dr. Kurz did cataract surgery on my left eye May 21, 2015. He put an implant lens in to replace the one he removed for distance. I could not believe the difference. Every thing was crisp and clear, and not yellow. I didn't know how bad my sight was, until the day after. Then I found out it would be June the 10th before he did my right eye. I was under the impression both eyes were done at the same time. I was very frustrated at having two different visions in between. After my right eye surgery was finished, I was very happy... read more
