I’ve been looking for an apartment for a little over a month now and it has been very difficult for me to tour apartments and work full time. Thankfully Maribel was able to assist me in showing me options. She’s a great asset to the team as she is welcoming and knowledgeable. She delivered what I was looking for. She was courteous and answered my questions in a timely manner. Thank you Maribel for finding my new home.
This is the worst experience I’ve encountered with an apartment complex during my apartment search. I applied to Violet on Virgil last September 2024 and got denied. Cool, no biggie! HOWEVER, when it came to refunding me back my security deposit as part of the application process, it’s been HORRIBLE. We are in April of 2025 and I still haven’t received my refund. Update: Its February 2025 and the water heater has “broken” 4 times and counting this year alone. I don’t know why they charge $500 for utilities that don’t even work. If you like moldy bathrooms with fans that do nothing but make noise, constantly fending off cockroaches no matter what prevention you do, chronically broken elevators, waking up at 2am to unnecessary fire alarms, and compact parking only, then this is the perfect place for you! This building is very poorly managed. No hot water SIX times in the last six months. Three times this WEEK. They need to spend the money to do a lasting repair. They need to be in the office during office hours. They need to respond to phone calls and emails.
