I have never been so irritated at a restaurant before. I made reservations 3 days a head of time so they can tell me when I got there that I had no reservation. They sat my gf and I either way and offered us their super over priced vday 4 course meal. We waited 40mins for the first course and by the time the 3rd course got to our table we had been at the restaurant for 2 and a half hours. We ordered it to go and left. Horrible service and terrible value!
I have found my all time favorite salad! Kale salad. I am having a wonderful time tonight at the new Vinotopia in Forest Heights. If you come on a Saturday, make a reservation! This place is packed. Most amazing food around hands down and Todd our server was so friendly I could hug him! My only issue now is trying to figure out what desert to order.
I'm a huge fan!!! My wife found the place by accident about two months ago. We're there at least once a week. The wine selection is definitely one of the best in Portland. The new general manager, Todd, is passionate and a pro. I'm conflicted, I don't want too many people to find this place ... because then I'll have to share. Unbelievable food, extraordinary wines, knowledgeable and attentive staff. Definitely a new favorite for us. I'm struck by the one star reviews but noticed that they were all in the same month. Every new restaurant has it's early issues and growing pains but our experience at Vinotopia far exceeded expectations. Highly recommended.
I'm giving Vinotopia 5 stars for their mouthwatering menu items. From the steaks to the scallops and salads; ever item is a culinary delight.
I went with 2 other couples to Vinotopia, and we had an excellent experience. The food was very good, with the menu containing many selections. We thought the service was fine too! I hope the local neighbors support the establishment.
