Dr. Bhavnani was recommend by a friend for cataract removal and I am very pleased with my overall experience. I had seen a big clinic Dr in the area and felt great pressure to upgrade to expensive lens implants. Dr. B only offers standard lenses which are giving me excellent vision. His conservative approach in evaluation and follow up after surgery provided a smooth recovery. I will highly recommend him in the future.
Over the past 3 years, I have had surgery for both a long standing glaucoma issue and later surgery for cataracts. In all, I've had 3 types of procedures, Iridotomy for Glaucoma, Cataract surgery and then a Yag Laser Capsulotomy follow up in each eye about 1 year after my Cataract surgeries. Each time, Dr Bhavnani thoroughly explained the procedure and why it was to be done. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Bhavnani since 2015. My Macular Degeneration specialist recommended him to me for Glaucoma & Cataract care. In 2017 he performed SLT surgery in both eyes and after a careful period of time we decided to do Cataract with drainage device in 2024. I felt confident in his advice along the way. I had a Yag laser treatment done this week and it was very succesfull. It was a two minute procedsure,with no side effects. I'm very pleased with him and his staff.
Dr. Bhavnani of Glaucoma and Cataract Eye Institute was recommended to me by my Naples ophtalmologist after he had diagnosed me with glaucoma and developing cataract eyesight degradation in 2017. Since then, I have seen him many times and have only praise for his care, professionalism and his staff.
