Dr Vine was very rude and seemed annoyed I was even in his presence. He got frustrated with me every time I wasn’t sure of the details about my diagnosis and treatment. I was speaking to him for an hour and a half and I didn’t feel comfortable for 1 of those minutes. They had not received my medical records from Scottish Rite yet and he didn’t seem to believe I even had arthritis but continued to tell me not to go on rollercoasters,bumper cars, boats etc. because I am double jointed? Always runs late. Last week I show up at the office 15 mns before my Appt time as requested to be told that he is currenty running 1hr and 15 mns late so I would have to wait 90 mns for a 10 min appt. Decided to leave, will not go back as this is not the first time this has happened.
This doctor's office needs to schedule appointments better. Today I had an appointment at 2:45 I got to the office at 2:30 and signed in to see him. I waited in the lobby for 1 hour & 15 minutes and they NEVER called me back there. I got up & left & told them that was ridiculous to have to wait over an hour & not be called back yet. This makes the second time this has happened to me. The first time was my initial visit with Dr. Vines. They need to realize that the patient's time is worth something. Excellent doctor, took time to explain what RA was & what course I could choose.
I had to activate one star. His receptionist tried. For Dr. Vine, I can't believe he is a practicing physician. His behavior is more like that of a caged cat. His advice is based on hypotheticals. He refused to consider past history. He advised me to go to a litany of other specializations in medicine. This doctor should not be practicing medicine. He is an alarmist and self absorbed.
Dr. Vine and entire staff have been more than satisfactory. We have no negative feelings about any aspect of the doctor, staff or facility. We will gladly recommend him.
