Overall, the food looked really great; however, the staff was absolutely horrible. First, when we walked in they had a poor attitude about the fact that there were 9 of us. After we were seated a girl walked over with a high chair and I kindly explained that we did not need one, but thank you. She huffed, said okay, and walked away. We had a great experience at Villaggio Grille at The Wharf. The atmosphere was lively, the service was friendly, and most importantly, the food was excellent. The only disappointment was the table bread. We ordered two baskets, but it wasn’t very fresh or flavorful, so I’d rate it 2/5. Everything else was outstanding. I hate writing a negative review because Villaggio has been one of my favorite restaurants in Orange Beach for years. I've eaten here at least eight times over the last six years, and until now, every visit has been excellent. I always order the exact same thing: the white cheese pizza. I've had it for lunch, during happy hour, and for dinner after 6:00 p.m. It's consistently been one of my favorite pizzas anywhere.
