Overall enjoyed my time here, but everything about living here is either a 1 star or a 5 star. Not much in between. The positives: Living in the Domain has a shelf live but i overall enjoyed it. The Farmer’s Market right below is fun, the Corner Market right below is great, and you’re walking distances from solid spots. Out of my 10 years renting in Austin, I have never had a worse experience than having to deal with two individuals that work at this establishment, Vicky and Esperanza. What I can only describe as two of the most inconsiderate, petty and miserable people I have to deal with in my entire life. I do not envy their lives as they have to resort to bullying random tenants, I imagine, to satisfy whatever deficiency they are experiencing in their regular lives. The fire alarm is ridiculous! I’ve been in this apartment for exactly a year now, and I have absolutely loved it. Love the location, ability to walk to restaurants/shops, the pool and amenities are great, I’ve never seen a single bug, and have only had to call maintenance once this entire year. The only reason I am considering moving to a different place is because of the fact that the fire alarm goes off every single day in the middle of the night. Edit 7 months later: in the last 4 so week the fire alarm has gone off 3 times between the hours of 10 pm - 3 am. The building still doesn't update anyone on what's going on. If there is an actual fire in the building we will be cooked because no one cares anymore. No clue how often it goes off when I'm not home. If you want to live in a place that makes you feel safe, choose somewhere else. I've been here for about 1.5 years and about 3 times now the entire buildings fire alarm has proved to be faulty.
