While visiting from out of town, we came to Wayside our first evening in town. We had Corey as our waitress and she as well as our food was amazing. We had the best onion rings and brisket ever. Well our second night in town we decided to go back because the food was amazing, our server was amazing, and the prices were great. The second night we asked for Corey again because she was so good. She recommended the depot burger which was spot on...it was the best burger I have ever eaten. We will definitely be eating here again ... read more

There isn't one dish that I don't like at this restaurant. Also, the wayside layer cake is always amazing!!! My only complaint is that my last time there they were sold out of the cake.
Tried this place for the first time while shopping in Asheville and fell in love! Everything we ordered was fantastic!
LOVE this place!!! We had just returned from a foraging trip just out of town and were a little hot and tired. Lisa appeared at our table and changed that right around! Delicious food, great beer, and delightful service! This place is a gem.
Pork wings and ahi tacos were great . Very friendly staff . Nice place .
First time here but me and my girlfriend loved it . atmosphere, food,drinks, waitress was amazing.will be back next trip.
