THE BEST! – You're home the second you walk in---Barbecue is excellent---fair price---feels like a good episode of Maverick--- Brookline Village location great if you're on your way to or coming from Downtown! Leave room for Dessert!!!!!! (if you can)
Where's the smoke? – Based on one visit, I'd probably go back, but would only order the ribs. Grilled chicken was fine, nothing great or bad. Steak was pretty good, but not remarkable. Ribs were, as mentioned, very good, almost falling off the bone, nice grilled taste. But I can't omit my great disappoinment with the brisket. It was just cheap roast beef, no smoke taste at all, no blackened outer layer, no spice. I was so....let down. A must not miss! – This hole in the wall restaurant had the best ribs and barbecue ever! The food was cheap cheap cheap and the portions were huge! Can't wait to go again!
As good as anything in Texas – My inlaws live in Dallas & I've had some great BBQ there. When they came to town I could confidently bring them to the Village Smoke House! They were skeptical, I ordered 1st & when the Texas Hog came out (my favorite) they were hooked!!!
The Best Ribs!! – I love this place, I love the atmosphere, the food and the drinks. The ribs are the best I've ever had. And the barbecue sauce is very tasty though a little sweet. My service has always been very prompt and courteous. It is a very small place so it's best to show up a little early.
better than adam's rib – I have been to Texas, Memphis, and St. Louis, village smoke house are the best I have ever tasted. The beef ribs are unequeled. The best treat for the average eater is order the texas sized and strap in.
"best bones in town" – The "best" barbecue beef bones I've ever had! Along with a green salad - just a great dinner.
Great food ! – I'll go again ! It's a very nice place, nice neighborhood !
Ribs to die for!! – The BBQ ribs fall off the bone. The large Texas grill is in the middle of the restaurant where you can literally see your food cooking. Southwest atmosphere and friendly bartenders and servers make for wonderful experience. Once you go there you"ll want to go back again and again.
