Renter Beware! My husband and I had a one year lease. Unfortunately, it was the worst experience of our lives. During our time there, the cops showed up either to raid a house, arrest a neighbor, or disrupt a parking lot fight at 3:00AM. Also, the complex had gone through three rental agencies which was a hassel when writing rent checks and communicating a problem with regard to the apartment. RUN WHILE YOU STILL CAN!! I moved my boyfriend, 3 year old and 9 month old into this place back in 2009. The space overall was appealing, however, the rat problem was not. We contacted staff about the issue, they came out, put down 2 mouse traps with fake cheese and that's it! The trouble continued and after 3 weeks of my family going hungry because the rats continuously chewed into our food, we moved out. I type this now out of sheer desperation. Early morning yesterday around 1:30AM, our apartment was broken into by someone living in an adjacent apartment whom we do not believe is on the lease. We have never seen this person nor have we done anything to upset any neighbors. This person was drunk and possibly on drugs as it was a violent, screaming encounter. RecommendedI’ve had a pleasant experience living here the last 6 months. I absolutely adored the old leasing lady Carrie, she was initially the reason we moved into the place. The maintenance man, Brandon, is very efficient and gets things done as quickly as possible!
Looking for a place to live check out: Conveniently located between Rice/Shiloh and Reick Road on Broadway Avenue. Walking distance of everything, food, shopping, medical and entertainment. The Village on Broadway in Tyler has: I have 3 town homes coming up; a 2/1.5 bedroom and a 3/1 town home February & in March 2020. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, shady business, and apt manager comes off nice at first but will screw you in the end, KNOWINGLY. Rent Very expensive to begin, and very dated. Had mutilple problems with A/C not working in the middle of summer and one instance was on a Friday night, and because my apt wasn’t spewing water it wasn’t an emergency so I was told i would be without air or help until Monday! pipe busted and flooded downstairs apt 2 months after moving in, no repairs don’t other than patch in the ceiling, and fans put in floor... read more
