Warning if you are planning on rent here. Mark sure you look at the apartment that you are going to be renting first. Before you sign the lease. I look at one of the Demo apartment that look good. The absolute worst place I ever lived. The property manager at the time not sure she is till there is a very rude woman that has a huge attitude problem. I lived there for 2 years on the 7th floor. In that time I had a wasp infestation that came through my window. I had to live with wasps in the apartment for a week until they could get an exterminator.A dryer in the laundry room exploded and caused a fire-no fire alarms went off. Approaching 3 years here. I have no complaints besides the kids running in the hallway (I guess I'm getting old?). It is a rather quiet and safe place to live. A big Indian community. Friendly staff and maintenance requests are done within 1 or 2 days. You're at the heart of all the stores you could possibly want and only a few minutes away from all the highways and Woodfield mall. I would recommend VIP.

Building 6 has elevator issues for last 4 months. We keep on calling leasing office and it never gets fixed permanently . We are stuck sometimes for more than 10mins just to get to our apartment or to go to office or drop kids to bus.

The Charge you unreasonably. They will not solve your problem. I have stayed there for 1 yrs. I have been asking cold air is coming in winter but they have not done any thing. At the end of the day they will put unnecessary charges on you.The only advantage is having Indian community more otherwise its not good to stay. Internet work in the worst condition and you can't take anyone else connection.
I do not live at Village in the Park but I can tell how wonderful their staff and management company are. A friend and I were organizing supplies to be sent to victims of Hurricane Harvey and I reached out to their management company to see if they had anything they wanted to donate. The wonderful staff at VIP helped organize TONS of supplies and in just TWO DAYS! They are an amazing team with beautiful hearts. Thank you!!!
