It was my first time getting an eye exam at Clarkson Eyecare and I had my first appointment with Dr. Melissa for my yearly eye exam. She was professional and friendly. She was attentive to any questions that I had and gave a detailed overview of my test results along with follow up recommendations. Ms. Melissa was the most patient, caring and understanding optometrist. She takes her time to address issues and to make sure everything is accounted for and accurate. I will never go to another place as long as Dr Melissa is there. She's the absolute best.

I had my first appointment today and I was very blindsided with several things. I show up to my appointment and they (Melissa & a tech) attempted to pressure me into dilating my eyes or paying to get imaging done of my eyes for $40. I did not come financially prepared to do that, I was honest up front about it. They proceeded to do the test anyway and expected me to pay at the desk, I told them no because I didn’t want it and stated that to several people. I had a really good experience at Clarkson Eye Care. Doctor Melissa answered all my questions and did a thorough exam. I felt she was extremely capable and competent. Dominic was great in helping me find glasses that I love and that are comfortable! Thank you Clarkson Eye Care!
