Their advertisements are half truths, the plumbing is pretty much broken and most of their units are old, shabby and run down.
Do not, i repeat DO NOT EVER live in a Student Housing Solutions property. I honestly should have known better when a close friend of mine who was a regional manager for them decided to leave for a lower paying job because he "could not sleep at night knowing how horribly they were treating young naive students." Student Housing Solutions are pro con artists, and they know most people moving in to their places are young 18-19 year olds who have never signed a lease in their lives. I have jus recently moved to Villa Cristina and I have had an absolutely amazing experience. From starting with the office staff to the maintenance team it has been beyond amazing I would recommend this property to anyone who is interested in finding living in Tallahassee.
Jakes Place is SUPERB! Conveniently located just steps away from FSU, it cannot be beat. Plus, with it being such a small community, it's a great way to get to know your neighbors. I'd highly recommend living here. It will only add to your FSU experience!
