Fantastic physician!!! Professional, knowledgeable and compassionate
A special thank you to Dr. Vignati and the wonderful nurses at the hospital. During an extremely crazy time, I received wonderful care and am very thankful for you all.
Emergency surgery was required and Dr. Vignati was on call. Surgery (Coleostomy) was successful and was subsequently (3 months) followed by a reversal which was also successful. Dr. Vignati and his staff were willing to answer all questions in a clear and cordial manner.
My experience with Dr Vignatti was terrible. The surgery result was horrible and when I requested follow up because I was in severe pain and acquired an infection I was not provided with even a follow up appointment. Dr Vignatti told me this was a "simple procedure" but the result was far from simple- I am still dealing with the reurcussions 5 years later
Does not like to have to answer questions... Does not allow his staff to answer questions... "You bet your money, and you take your chances!" But I'm not dead, three years out. Small favors, I suppose!

Dr. Vignati and his team have provided me with explanations of my surgery that was very easy to understand. All staff were courteous and I felt like I was getting the best care. They showed compassion before during and after surgery.
I went to Dr. Vignati for a second opinion after what i consider a botched laproscpic colon resection by another doctor..I wanted to know the specifics of the procedure and why my belly went from about 27 inches to 35 inches and all i got from him is how suceesful the surgery was and the secondary sugery for mesh implant too//He never bothered to read my medical history and told me i just had to accept my reality and that maybe if i wore a wrap it would help..I found him evasive
Dr. Cognate performed surgery on me for a perforated colon five years ago. He is extremely kind, caring, and compassionate. The surgery was a success. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great doctor!
