In the early 2000s, I was sent by my PCP for my first colonoscopy. The physician who attempted to perform it said he couldn't complete it as the result of a surgical procedure I'd had in 1974 that altered the configuration of my intestines. After a positive Cologuard result in October of 2025, I was referred to Dr. Vignati who successfully performed the colonoscopy and reported me clear of polyps or cancer. Given his professional manner and his technical abilities, I'd refer anyone to Dr. Vignati to anyone with hesitation.
Amazing surgeon. Superb bedside manner and exceptional with treatment and care. I've had multiple situations requiring his care and couldn't recommend a better provider.
Excellent Doctor! Surgery went very well and solved the medical issues I was facing. I would highly recommend. My only regret, is not deciding to do the surgery earlier.
Communication was excellent, I was very comfortable and confident that Dr.Vignati would perform this surgery with my best health interest in mind. Almost two weeks after surgery and I am healing nicely. Excellent experience given the gravity of what was happening inside my body. Last month I had a sigmoid colectomy performed by Dr Vignati. My surgery had some complications and Dr Vignati assured me that everything would be ok. I am so glad I had such a gifted surgeon with all that experience and I am doing well now. Thank you again Dr Vignati for saving my wife's life some 28 yrs ago. You are the best doctor in the colo-rectal field.

After a recent cancer diagnosis I was referred to Dr. Vignati. I reached out to his office and I was immediately scheduled for a consult that week, he got me in for a MRI that same day, followed by my visit with him the next day. I presented in March 2016, with a ruptured abcess on my descending colon. Very toxic, very deadly, Very Painful! I was admitted, and fed through a tube for 2.5 weeks. No food or water by mouth. Daily visits from many (lots) residents, etc. All wanted to poke my belly, which was stiff as a board! I Asked to see Dr V. repeatedly. "Oh, Dr Vignati is quite busy.
