Unbelievably awful bar . .. DO NOT PLAN A PARTY HERE – I cannot stress enough how awfully treated we were at this bar. My friends reserved the back room for a bday party and were told they had to have 50 people there by 10:30 or they would be charged $500. At 10:30 the bar was empty because 50 people were IN LINE, including the birthday girl. The bouncer was totally rude, saying crass disgusting things that even if the bar was packed, was totally uncalled for. He refused to let any guys in. The manager was just as rude despite the fact that we probably made up 70% of his bar for the party and were spending money at his bar. He kept insisting the bouncer was just "doing his job". This place is just horrific, this is my second experience with that bouncer and he was just as awful the first time. The bar has such potential if it could only fire its staff. I will never go back and certainly recommend people look elsewhere if planning a party.

Never again...avoid like the plague – Though I had been to this small (seriously--feels like a small two-bedroom apartment) bar before, I had never been to the bar on a weekend. First, the bouncers were total a-holes. When asked if they could accommodate one female, one of them actually pretended to hauk a loogey on her and told her to get in the back of the line. After standing in the cold for 45mins with no movement, one person asked a bouncer how much longer they thought we were going to wait. He proceeded to tell us that we had only three purposes in life: to eat, go number 2 (although he used other words) and die. Then he told us to shut up. To boot, they were letting in random guys (??). The manager was inconsiderate and unresponsive. Though he came out to randomly bring people in with him, he ignored people for the first hour we were in line. Finally a burly guy in the back grabbed his arm and asked him what the deal was. He claimed the bar was far too crowded to let people in--while he was coming out to find people to take inside with him. Overall douche. Finally, someone on the 3rd/4th fl of the apt building overhead was throwing eggs down on the line for the 1.5 hours we were there. Awful. Honestly, if service, courtesy and space mean anything to you, avoid this bar like the plague. I've never written a review before, and I hope I never have the occasion to do it again.

I wish..... – This bar has all the makings of a wonderful place; however, the management is not the greatest-by far and large. There has been more than one instance where I have had to dispute charges. I want this bar to be great; that would be my reason for making the mistake for coming back. It's like a hot stove, I know I shouldn't put my hand on it, yet I do, from time to time. I would honestly warn people I know.

great local spot – great bartenders, drinks, crowd. gets a little crowded at times, but it doesn't matter because the people who go there to drink are always in high spirits.

This solid, unpretentious lounge is a local go-to spot for good drinks, good music and good fun. – The name of this Soho favorite refers to an arcane bookie slang term for interest charged on a bet, recalling a time when the neighborhood was full of wiseguys that might stop in for a Scotch. But inside, the Vig Bar blends with the Soho of today; long, low banquets, leather tuffets and votive candles set the mood. On weeknights, the music starts out bluesy, catering to a refined and sophisticated after-work crowd. On the weekends, the scene tends more toward a full-fledged party, but the Jager shots and martinis seem to get along just fine. Hits: It's a late-night place, so if you're in need of a cocktail at, say, 3am on a Wednesday, you're in luck. Misses: There's a dark velvet-swagged back room, but even on crowded weekend nights it's not always open, leaving the front bar area slammed.

Cutesy lounge – Been here a couple of times, gets really crowded late at night with a line to get in. Could never figure out why though. Lounge is a bit small, drinks are pricey per usual Manhattan standards, too many sweaty people in one space. I'd say it's a slightly above average lounge but I'd only go there if I was in the area.

before i moved away, this was my favorite neighborhood bar. the bartenders are awesome, especially ron. the crowd is surprisingly unpretentious and friendly. drinks are made well and service is excellent. try to avoid going on the weekends when jersey kids take over; my best nights there were weeknights...

Adorable – This tiny space is reminiscent of an English pub--complete with nooks and low ceilings, only updated and modern. Get there early otherwise you'll be standing..if you do you can get a great seat at the bar. Precious space, not to mention bar tender!

TOO SMALL – had to wait to get to a place i heard was amazing however, once in side I quickly realized the the space is much too small and way too many people. There was no where to move and the bar was very hot.
