We were formerly California Emporium of Tattoos and have been in the same location in West Asheville since 1992. We are a traditional street shop with 1000's of designs, we're also happy to create a completely custom tattoo for you in any style you might want. Love this place I've had tattoos done by Brody and Steve and my husband has had his done by Emily! We have had an amazing experience every time we have gotten a tattoo!

Awesome experience! Went in to get an estimate and was in a chair within 30 minutes! Tony was great talking me through sizing and what’s going to look good not just now but in 20 years! Amazing line work; completely straight with NO wiggle at all! The guys are the shop we’re hilarious too! Awesome environment and I’m looking forward to getting a larger piece done there!
Eli is absolutely a bang up person to get a tattoo from. Work is smooth and fast. Overall place is comfortable and friendly. Definitely will be returning in the near future for Eli to do more work.
Love this place. I have been going here for 20 years.My opinion Wade Elder does the best tattoos in Asheville.
