I want to take care of the whole person. I care about making people well, not just fixing a specific problem. I really believe everything is related. I don't want to just treat a shoulder or a knee, but to find and treat the root cause of your injury. I want to make the patient healthier in general. I want to make them well. My elderly father had a bad fall on a Saturday night, and was sent to the ER by his assisted living. He had a fractured shoulder and the ER referral said to contact Dr. Romano. I called Dr. Romano’s service early Monday morning and they got us in at noon time. I was so grateful to have an orthopedic surgeon look at him in a timely manner. Dr Romano outlines all your options for care but encourages a conservative approach to treatment first. Listens to patient’s questions and explains all very well. You don’t feel he’s in a rush.
I met him for the first time but he make me so comfortable as if I knwew him for a long rime. Explained to me what I needed done and gave me examples of others having the same pribkem now doing great. I am very sure that i am in the best hands and so sure after my conversation with fim.
Dr Romano listened to my health concerns and attended to each concern.
I knew Dr. R from when he treated my three sprained ankles over the years so I knew I was in good hands. He lights up the room when he comes in and made me feel comfortable right away. I got the results from the x-rays taken during the appointment. He was able to access records he needed from another hospital. immediately. Dr. R worked some magic showing me how to relieve my carpal tunnel on my own so that I didn’t need to wear my wrist braces any longer. Dr. R spent a great deal of quality time with me. Dr. Romano and his staff are friendly and helpful. I felt that Dr. Romano took the time to really listen to me and was clear in his explanations. I enjoy his personality.

The staff I met before seeing the doctor did their jobs well. It was a pleasure to meet Doctor Romano. He was personable and friendly. He made me feel comfortable. He showed me the scary X-ray and told me what we are going to do about it right now and what the future looked like for me. He already knew my reservations about surgery because we’re the same age and we all heard about bad knee surgeries in our twenties. “Don’t let ‘em cut you man. Worst decision of my life.” Yikes.
