Dr. Marterer (I hope I spelled it right), went above and beyond 2 help me. My mom passed away May 28th last year. Her cat, who is now mine, somehow broke his leg and the Doc helped me so much. We have been dealing with this going on 12 weeks and he knows I'm on a budget and works with me. He did the surgery for a way cheaper price because he knew my situation. I will recommend anyone to this wonderful place. Even the staff are amazing and have helped me so much through this whole process!

I cannot even begin to describe the compassionate and professional experience that we received bringing my Pepper here. From the first phone call I made to get him in to see the doctor when I didn't have a clue what was wrong to right now, still, as I call and email with multiple follow up questions after surgery, I am humbled and speechless by how kind and gentle and compassionate and knowledgable and professional (I could go on and on) this entire staff was. This group of surgeons and staff made a very hard situation so much easier to deal with. Dr Coutin was so amazing, she took her time and explained everything to me. She tolerated my "crazy dog lady" questions and concerns and she accommodated our every need. I would recommend this facility to anyone that has surgical needs for their fur babies. 100% satisfied with our entire experience.
So happy to have these doctors located in Metairie! Great doctors and great staff to care for our fur children!
The doctor was super friendly and explained everything beautifully to my sister for her dog. She saw him that day around 1:30pm and within 6 hours of admission they had performed his CT scan, back surgery for his herniated disc, and was in recovery. Everyone was very professional, concerned, and helpful. I have worked in emergency veterinary medicine and was very pleased with the experience.
Some of the best people I've met!!! It's a pleasure learning and knowing these people will go out of their way for pets no matter what!!
